7 Reasons I'm Moving to Canada!

Posted by ms. gabrielle

#7 No babies to hold me back! (No offense to those who got knocked up before their time.) But not having any childin's to look after is great! It makes my spur-of-the-moment decision to move possible. The only life changes I have to consider are my own. And yes, some argue that having children in your early twenties is not the end of your life, but they're wrong! If you're a mother you should be putting your child's life first. If you're not then your priorities are dead wrong. Neway, i'm happy to say, I'm putting my life first cos i got no babies to hold me back!

#6 Ain't No Ring on it. If he like it, then he shoulda put a ring on it.  It took him over a year to finally  start calling me his girlfriend. So, a ring? Uh... yea right. But wait, don't get me wrong. I'm definitely not looking to be married, but what's wrong with a little commitment? (More to come on this subject! Trust.)

#5 Free health care. 'Nuff said.

#4 Fly ass Job Opportunities! While Americans are loosing jobs left and right, I've already managed to land two jobs across the border. Na-Na-Nana-Naaaahhhh! =p

#3 Fresh Start. I want to start over. Growing up I didn't have the best experiences. Reflecting on my years from Junior High School to college, I realized how much I sucked at living in the moment. I worried way too much. About everything. Growing up the way I did, really put a toll on me emotionally and socially. I can't wait to get away from all that. I'm not running, but I just need a break. Time to learn more about myself  and who I want to be, without constant reminders of mistakes, shortcomings, and faux relationships of the past. (I could really go deep with this, but i'll save it for a later date.) Just put it this way, it's time I stop feeling sorry for my circumstances and live for my own happiness.

#2 Life long connections. Honestly, I could count on with two fingers the people who truly know me and love me for being me. They've have ALWAYS been there and have ALWAYS seen the good in me. No matter what bullshit I was up to. Hopefully, i'll make a few more life long connections while i'm gone.

#1 Time to spread my wings. At 22-years-old  it's safe to say, the times come to leave the nest and spread my wings. And momma always said, "if you want to fly like an Eagle, you gotta leave the pigeons alone." Well, here I am leaving all these pigeons alone. Ya know, those toxic friends that make you feel guilty for doing shit with your life and being successful.
